FAQ
-
What rivers do you fish?
Depending on the time of year, conditions, and customer preference: Clackamas, Sandy, North Santiam, Nestucca, Trask, and Wilson rivers.
-
What equipment is provided?
All fishing and safety equipment is provided for guests. All guests must purchase a fishing licence and tag before arrival and have a paper copy or ODFW app downloaded to record all catches and comply with the law.
-
What should I wear?
You will need to bring weather-appropriate clothing and layers. We strongly recommend waterproof outer layers (pants & jacket) during fall, winter, and spring months (September through June). Hip/chest waders are ideal (no studded wading boots allowed). If not wearing waders, we require waterproof boots that go at least to the mid-shins. Rubber rain boots or muck boots that rise to the mid-shins or knees are necessary to keep you dry when entering the raft and standing in the raft (there is water on the floor of the raft at all times because it is a self-bailing raft, which allows water to flow in and out freely (this is a saftey feature of the raft, its not sinking).
-
what should I bring in addition to proper attire?
Food for the day, water, and drinks. Also, bring a cooler with ice to leave in your car for taking your fish home. Bring all necessary medications (EPI pens/insulin) and other types of specific medications you may need. General first aid equipment will be on board.
-
how do i pay?
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, and the remaining balance can be paid the day of the trip with cash, Venmo, or Apple Pay. Trips are a two-person minimum rate; check the website for pricing.
